The Forge

Bring one thing you have carried too long to the fire, and take it back changed into something that serves you.

The Forge is a session where you stand before a large fire and bring in one thing you have carried for too long. You place that item into the heat and watch as it changes into something that serves you better.

The track repeats this simple act of change.

A heavy iron door closes on the world outside and the heat of the fire sits in the middle of the room.

Sparks rise upwards and metal glows red as you watch the shape of something you carried too long shift in the light. The hammer does the work and you stay still while the air gets very hot.

What’s in it

Bring one thing you have carried too long to the fire, and take it back changed into something that serves you.

Why do it

The act of letting go and transforming in a controlled environment can offer new perspectives and lighter burdens.

Timeline: Start to Finish

The standard-length build, block by block — the real sequence the app assembles, described rather than spoken.

3 of the 4 stages are named techniques with a published origin, credited under each.

  1. InductionStage 16 min

    Progressive Muscle Relaxation

A classic head-to-toe relaxation. Tense and release, or simply soften, each muscle group in sequence.

After Edmund Jacobson PMR (1929); Dave Elman Hypnotherapy · what progressive muscle relaxation is

  2. DeepenerStage 23 min

    Staircase Descent

Visualized stairs descending into a deeper level of trance. Each step takes you down.

After Ledochowski, Deep Trance Training Manual

  3. JourneyStage 3about 12 min

    The Forge

Bring one thing you have carried too long to the fire, and take it back changed into something that serves you.

  4. AwakeningStage 42 min

    Calm Alert Awakening

Awake and present, but calm rather than energized. Good for evening or pre-meeting use.

    After Yapko, Trancework

Where it sits

Liminal places that carry their own rhythm: a night train, the deep ocean, one bell fading, the middle of a crossing.

Why going here does anything

There is no need to think your way through a change when the fire is doing the heavy lifting for you. Watching sparks rise and metal glow gives the eyes and hands a single, repetitive task that keeps you right here.

The forge offers a clear place to set a burden down and watch the light reshape it.

Before you press play

  • Not the right session right now if any of these are live for you: distress around fire.
  • 18+. Age floor set in the catalogue, not by us on the day.

Hypnosis is not for everyone. If you have epilepsy, a psychotic illness, or you are under psychiatric care, talk to your clinician before using this — here or anywhere.
