Inner child adventure meditation

Not a reunion and not a repair - you take the child version of you somewhere good, and you both spend the whole day there.

You spend the day taking a child version of you to somewhere pleasant, staying there until the light goes.

There is no fixing of old hurts and no talk of the past, just a simple outing where you are the one in charge. You walk, you sit, and you keep the child company.

A day out in a park or a field with a younger version of yourself. The ground is firm underfoot and the day is long, with nothing required of you other than to be there.

You walk at an easy pace, find a place to sit, and let the child play while you watch.

Why going here does anything

Repeating the act of walking and sitting gives the mind a gentle structure that is easy to follow. By keeping your attention on the child at play, you are holding onto something simple and visible.

This is a rehearsal of having nothing else to do but look after someone small.

Before you press play

  • 13+. Age floor set in the catalogue, not by us on the day.

Hypnosis is not for everyone. If you have epilepsy, a psychotic illness, or you are under psychiatric care, talk to your clinician before using this — here or anywhere.
